Hiking Through a Bamboo Forest in Kyoto
Bamboo stalks tower overhead, their leaves rustling in the wind like soft rain. The path is covered in fallen bamboo leaves, making my steps quiet. Sunlight filters through in thin streaks, lighting up the greenery, and I pause to listen—only the wind and a distant bird. The air smells fresh and clean, and I run my hand along a bamboo stalk, smooth and cool. This forest isn’t just plants—it’s a sanctuary, where the world slows down and feels peaceful.
